what we had for supper

A package of romaine salad
toss in some:
craisins
white raisins
almonds
chopped apple
sweet peas
mandarin oranges

On the side (because not everyone like them) I had:
chopped onions
gorganzola crumbles
chopped chicken from a cooked- at- the- grocery store chicken

I put poppy seed dressing on mine.  The others used either mango or raspberry.

It was good.  It was healthy and the best part was that everyone liked it!

That sounds really yummy! I have been eating a little more salad lately. You know my family wouldn't go for this food, but they also wouldn't stop me from eating it. :)

That sounds yummy! I love interesting salads. A friend made me a great salad while I was on bed rest it had - Romaine lettuce, 2 pts strawberries, sliced
1 small wheel of Brie (not double cream), cup up in pieces
3 packages sliced almonds sugarized, with an apple cidar vinegarette dressing (Yummy)

Gross side note - I was just finishing up some cherries and the very last one was just horrid - left a rotten taste in my mouth and now I need to go eat something else to take away the yuck taste - guess I could be good and brush my teeth, but...
